Our story begins in 1949 when founder Karel Hoffman arrived in Cleveland from Prague, Czechoslovakia, as a refugee with a master’s cabinet-making background. His commitment to craftsmanship and adaptability became the foundation of our company. Today, second-generation President Barry Hoffman carries on that legacy—combining design insight, construction expertise, and a deep respect for older homes.
